Six years ago, Takshan Creatives was born not just from a passion for design, but from a deep belief in purpose, resilience, and the power of second chances.
As a graphic designer and multimedia artist, I once dreamed of starting a woodcraft manufacturing company. But life took an unexpected turn when I became paraplegic and wheelchair-bound. For a while, I thought my dreams had ended.
Everything changed when I met Mr. Jayasankar, founder of Oorjja. His encouragement helped me restart my journey—this time, as a graphic design mentor at Oorjja, training children with hearing impairments. It was a turning point, not just in my career, but in my purpose. From that spark, Takshan Creatives emerged as an ecosystem partner of Oorjja at Swasraya Training and Rehabilitation Centre in Mulanthuruthy, Kochi, where people with spinal cord injuries learn to live independently, Takshan came alive with heart, hands, and hope.
Our philosophy is simple: “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.”
From intricately designed mementoes, wall décor, and photo engravings to custom wooden gifts and clocks, everything we create tells a story—not just of craftsmanship, but of courage.
