In 2019, Takshan Creatives had one of its most cherished moments—a golden opportunity to craft personalized wooden mementos for none other than the legendary playback singer KS Chitra and her team. The occasion was a fundraising concert organized by ASK Aster Sick Kids Foundation, supporting a truly noble cause.
As a Malayalee and lifelong admirer of KS Chitra, being part of this event was not just an honour—it was a dream come true. Her presence alone inspires generations, and for Team Takshan to contribute something meaningful to the occasion was beyond special.
The highlight? Witnessing Chitra chechi’s surprised and joyful reaction on stage while receiving the memento we created. Her warm smile and personal appreciation of our work was a moment of quiet validation for the passion and precision we pour into everything we make.
It wasn’t just a proud moment for me—it was a milestone for our entire team. As a person with a spinal cord injury and the founder of an inclusive creative enterprise, events like these remind us that our work speaks louder than our limitations.
